We’re excited to welcome Ryan Austin-Smith to LED Studio as Director of Regional Growth & Strategic Accounts for Europe. Ryan brings a wealth of experience in large-scale projects, strategic partnerships, and client relations, and will play a key role in expanding our European footprint.
Ryan brings a wealth of experience from Tier 1 companies, including Apple, IBM, Lenovo, Sharp Electronics, Elo Touch, AOTO and LG. Throughout his career, he has held pivotal leadership roles, overseeing major accounts and leading acquisition efforts. Most recently at LG, he developed solutions for stadiums and arenas, building robust processes and facilitating partnerships with some of the world’s largest clubs and investment houses.
Ryan is not only a seasoned AV professional but also someone who thrives on challenges and continuous learning. He’s currently training for a triathlon in August 2025, inspired to push his limits in both his professional and personal life. Part of Challenge 25, he’s dedicated to making a positive impact in his new role while pursuing his personal fitness goals.
A family man at heart, Ryan enjoys traveling with his family and exploring new cultures—most recently, he and his family visited Cyprus, due to his wives Greek Cypriot background. He has three children and values quality time spent with them, balancing his dynamic career with family adventures.
In his downtime, Ryan is a hands-on craftsman who enjoys woodworking and furniture-making courses. Known for his curiosity, he’s always mastering new hobbies, from building custom furniture to cultivating his own vegetable garden. His allotment provides him a peaceful retreat from the bustle of London, where he lives.
In his new role, Ryan will lead our efforts in Europe, focusing on driving regional growth, strategic partnerships, and large-scale project execution. Leveraging his extensive experience in stadium projects and public sector partnerships, Ryan will be pivotal as LED Studio expands into new verticals and markets across mainland Europe.
