Challenge
As one of the most iconic buildings in Wales, the Wales Millennium Centre strived for a high specification refurbishment of the building’s main foyer, creating a space where customers want to spend time, absorb the environment and interact with the creative space.
To create maximum impact upon arrival, the centre required a highly durable, bezel-less display along the full length of the space to draw attention from all angles.

Cardiff's main venue for large-scale opera, ballet, contemporary dance, and musicals. It includes a large theatre, two smaller halls, shops, bars, and restaurants. Home to Wales' national orchestra, opera, and six other arts organisations.
It was a high quality, high profile project to deliver. We worked closely with LED Studio. We reviewed a number of other technologies on the market, such as LCD’s and projection. We realised the client needed cutting edge technology and a seamless display.

Solution
As specialists in creative signage and brand implementation, Morgans Consult saw an opportunity to install a state-of-the-art LED display that would create a monumental, seamless impact at the Wales Millennium Centre, leaving a lasting impression on all visitors.
The 55” EDGE LED display from LED Studio met these requirements perfectly. The installation spanned 16m x 0.68m, using P2.5 SMD technology, providing the ultimate technology to display visually appealing digital signage.

The 55” EDGE display offers up to 40% energy savings compared to legacy LCD technology. Its 55” single die-cast cabinet ensures easy wall or VESA installation. The product's extended lifespan of over 10 years ensures that the Wales Millennium Centre's initial investment is future-proofed for years to come.
